The wait is almost over as the covers are about to come off the refurbished Links Tavern, on Portsmouth Road in Liphook.
Closed since late January, the new Links Tavern will reopen on Friday March 1 with a new look, a new approach and a new ale, “The Links Tavern Ale”, created by the head brewers of Fuller’s, John Keeling and local brewery Ballard’s.
The ale combines a Ballard’s ale with John’s selection of the finest goldings hops available and will sit on the new Links Tavern bar alongside a changing line up of Fuller’s favourites such as London Pride, ESB and Gales Seafarers Ale.
Manager Matt Jarrett said: “I can’t wait to open the doors again on Friday, and I think our customers are going to be delighted with the new look. The brand new hanging sign and our own ale are just a hint at some of the significant changes we’ve made.
“We’ll be having our first big night on March 15 when John Keeling will be hosting a beer and food evening for charity we have links with. More details will be available once we open so come in and take a look!”
