The recent Skipton Beer Festival saw the launch of a new marketing campaign by the town’s Copper Dragon brewery.

“Clearly Better” will be the new message that runs throughout all of the eight year-old brewery’s promotional activities

Copper Dragon MD and founder Steve Taylor commented: “We have decided to adopt a marketing message that reflects the real ale enthusiasts’ requirement for a quality pint and ‘Clearly Better’ fits the bill.

“It’s a message that’s already going down well with landlords, beer wholesalers and suppliers and was launched at the Skipton Beer Festival with a lot of positive feedback.

“We are moving forward apace in 2010 with new foreign markets opening up and new brands planned to accompany the success of the Freddie Trueman Ale and our other popular hand crafted cask ales,” added Steve.

Established in 2002, Skipton-based Copper Dragon supplies its hand crafted Best Bitter, Golden Pippin, Scots 1816, Challenger IPA, Fred Trueman Ale and Black Gold cask ales to over 2000 pubs across the UK as well as major supermarkets and foreign markets as far afield as Australia and Russia.
